 Dormitory

The Centre has a total residential capacity of 109, with accommodation ranging from twin bedrooms to sixteen berth dormitories. Five shower rooms and three bathrooms, one with a huge Victorian bath, ensure cleanliness and relaxation after a hard day above or below ground.

Groups are usually accommodated in a mixture of double-bunked dormitories and adjacent twin / triple bedded staff rooms. The accommodation areas are normally divided up to ensure that male and female sleeping and shower facilities are clearly segregated. When more than one group is resident in the Centre efforts are made to provide areas separate from each other but this is not always feasible. However, different groups do not share dormitories and bedrooms.

A booking for seventy plus will usually have sole residential use of the Centre. Smaller numbers may well find that they are sharing with another group. We do not normally take bookings for less than twenty but please 'phone to check.

All bed linen, non-feather pillows and duvets are provided, and extra blankets are available. The Hall is centrally heated with radiators and hand basins in each room. There is a no smoking and no dogs policy within the Centre.
